The restaurant

My restaurant in Rome is set in a nineteenth-century building and has  two spaceful rooms on the ground floor with a total capacity of 150 customers.

When our ancestors left Abruzzi in the 1890's, they brought to Rome a trunk full of recipes and family traditions. We inherited many of these, including our passion for cooking and eating with family and friends.

An underground room is available on request. During the summer time You can enjoy the airconditioned but there is also the possibility to use the outdoor tables. At the restaurant il Secchio we bring you the same wonderful experience we grew up on: from our warm hospitality, to the authentic aromas and handmade recipes passed down for more than four generations.
